Private Vehicle Rental Agreement

Vehicle must be returned at the date, time, and location above. Late return is billed at $25/hour after a 60-minute grace period unless an extension is agreed in writing.

• Refuel service: $60 plus fuel if not returned at the same level.
• Lost key / fob / remote replacement: $350.
• Unauthorized pet: $150. Smoking / vaping: $250.
• Mileage overage: $0.50 / mile. Payment failure may result in immediate termination.

Mileage limit: 200 miles/day · Overage: $0.50 / mile · Geo limit: North Carolina & South Carolina only

• No use by anyone not listed as Additional Driver
• No use while intoxicated or under influence
• No rideshare / delivery for compensation
• No off-road, racing, towing, or teaching to drive
• No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs
• No pets/animals without written consent
• No use outside NC/SC without written consent

Renter must maintain full-coverage insurance valid in North Carolina and name the vehicle on the policy for the rental period. Renter is responsible for all damage, loss of use, diminished value, towing, and storage charges not covered by insurance, up to the full value of the vehicle.

Accident / damage procedure — renter must:

1. Ensure safety, call 911 if injuries.
2. Photograph all vehicles, damage, plate, license, insurance, location.
3. Obtain police report (required in NC for damage over $1,000).
4. Complete NC DMV-349 if required.
5. Call Owner immediately, then insurance.
6. Do not admit fault or authorize repairs.

Renter is responsible for all tolls, parking, red-light and traffic citations issued during the rental period, plus a $25 administrative fee per citation processed by the Owner. Roadside assistance is provided by AAA; the renter pays all AAA service charges, tow, and service fees.

Owner may terminate this agreement and recover the vehicle immediately upon breach, non-payment, or unsafe operation. NOTICE: this vehicle may be equipped with GPS/telematics used for recovery, maintenance, and verification of agreement terms, as permitted under North Carolina law.
